The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has ordered a probe and decided to re-evaluate this year’s class XII toppers to ascertain whether they actually deserved the honours after a topper looked completely clueless about her subjects, and said political science was about cookery, as reported by TOI.
The board has called all 14 toppers from arts, science and commerce streams for ‘a small re-examination’ on June 3. The move comes after arts topper Ruby Ray’s video in which she also called political science ‘prodigal science’ went viral.

Patna, June 2: Stung by the media expose of “dubious” toppers of class 12th examination conducted by Bihar board, state Education Minister Ashok Choudhary on Wednesday, June 1, said a high level probe has been ordered to re-check merit of the toppers. The board has called all 14 toppers from arts, science and commerce streams for ‘a small re-examination’ on June 3.

Just a few days after Class XII Arts topper in Bihar, Ruby Ray, exposed herself saying political science was all about cooking, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has decided to check the merit of the rest of the school toppers in the state, in various streams.
All the 14 toppers from arts, science and commerce will sit for a “small” re-examination on June 3, reports……………
BSEB chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh has even ordered a one-on-one interview with the toppers after the written test.
